Marianna McMurdock is an independent journalist and photographer whose work examines how communities heal and resist. Locally she edits with the Bay State Banner and supports Gallery 263. She is an Up Next member of Diversify Photo and received an Ida B. Wells Front Page Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York for a series on segregation.
