Matthew Lawrence is a writer, editor, archivist, and former spelling bee host based in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a founding editor of the contemporary queer art journal Headmaster and former editor of the Rhode Island culture newsletter Law and Order Party. His current project is a multichannel video installation entitled Scandalous Conduct: A Fairy Extravaganza, which will premiere in 2024.
